This book examines the life of an individual with a visual impairment. This work will expose the many obstacles that one who faces physical challenges have to overcome every day. I as the writer am completely vulnerable in this book purposely being utterly transparent after many devastating situations that left me out to dry. The heart of this work is to empower those with any disability to stand up for yourself because I didn’t on many occasions. Furthermore, this work was created to bring light to those of us who through a plethora of daily obstacles appear to be physically inept however, we are not. Lastly, this book was written to declare that those of us with disabilities are not incapable or unable we just need the opportunity to highlight our abilities without sympathy, pity, or predispositions.
